Mariana Correia, MD, joined the Champalimaud Foundation as Medical Doctor and Radiologist, at the Breast Unit, in 2019. She has been mainly dedicated to the clinical care of patients in the Breast Unit, specially related with breast imaging diagnosis and staging, interventional procedures and imaging follow up.

Her main areas of interest include research of new methods to improve breast cancer detection at earliest stages / premalignant phases. Recently she has been collaborating with the Champalimaud Biobank Team.
