Luís Brito Elvas is a data scientist specialized in health informatics, machine learning, and secure medical data systems. As an Assistant Professor at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon and Director of the Bachelor’s in Digital Technologies and Health, he has contributed to projects focusing on AI-driven analytics, blockchain-based health data sharing, and digital health infrastructure. His work emphasizes privacy-preserving technologies and data governance frameworks to enhance clinical research and patient care.

In the breast cancer research program, Luís leads the development of data pipelines and analytics platforms that support evidence-based decision-making and translational research. He is also a member of the Order of Engineers (No. 84483).
