Luís Brito Elvas is a data scientist specialized in health informatics, machine learning, and secure medical data systems. As an Assistant Professor at ISCTE – University Institute of Lisbon, he has contributed to projects focusing on blockchain-based health data sharing, AI-driven analytics, and digital health infrastructure. His work emphasizes privacy-preserving technologies and data governance frameworks to enhance clinical research and patient care.

In the breast cancer research program, Luís leads the development of data pipelines and analytics platforms that support evidence-based decision-making and translational research. He is also a member of the Order of Engineers (No. 84483) and serves as Chair of the IEEE Student Branch Chapter at ISCTE.
