Juliana Lameiro is a master's student at the Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon and joined the Champalimaud Foundation in 2024. Her thesis investigates the effects of aerobic and resistance exercise on tumor volume and diffusion in women newly diagnosed with breast cancer undergoing neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NEO-Program). Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), her study aims to evaluate how exercise influences changes in tumor size and intratumoral cellularity, assessed through volumetric measurements and diffusion-weighted imaging parameters.
