Inês Ramos Correia, MSc, joined the Champalimaud Foundation as a doctoral student at the Faculty of Human Kinetics, University of Lisbon, in 2020. Her dissertation work aims to describe the benefits of two different exercise protocols (aerobic training and strength training) vs. relaxation control group on different health biomarkers (e.g., tumor proliferation, immune response, inflammatory profile, physical fitness, and quality of life), in women recently diagnosed with breast cancer scheduled for neoadjuvant therapy (NEO-Program). This project is a collaboration between the Faculty of Human Kinetics and the Champalimaud Foundation.
