Catarina Vizetto-Duarte is the Program Manager of the Breast Cancer Research Program at the Champalimaud Foundation. She works closely with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and develop performance-tracking frameworks that support data-driven decision-making. Before joining Champalimaud, Dr. Vizetto-Duarte spent five years in Singapore, where she led research initiatives across Europe and Asia.

With a strong background in oncology and regenerative medicine, she brings proven expertise in managing complex research programs, coordinating diverse scientific teams and contributing to the acquisition of funding for high-impact initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Within the Breast Cancer Research Program, she co-develops and helps shape strategic goals, oversees the execution of collaborative research initiatives and ensures alignment between scientific innovation, operational rigor and patient-centered impact.
