Beatriz Martins, is a Master’s student in Biomedical Engineering and Biophysics at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon. Her journey at the Champalimaud Foundation’s Digital Surgery Lab began in 2024 with a curricular internship focused on evaluating breast models’ visualization tools.
Following this, Beatriz has been conducting her Master’s thesis, focused on using diffusion models to simulate different MRI acquisitions to improve the robustness of segmentation models.
