Iara Borges is a final-year BSc student in Digital Technologies and Health at Iscte-University Institute of Lisbon, interested in the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies to healthcare. Her academic experience includes projects in medical image classification, telehealth and IoMT, data analysis and predictive modelling. As part of the RESPECT project at the Breast Cancer Research Program, she contributes to the development and evaluation of AI-driven solutions for healthcare, including voice cloning, automatic transcription of clinical consultations, and other AI-based tools designed to support clinical care and enhance patient experience.
