Dr. Celeste Alves, MD, is a Breast Radiologist and Clinical Researcher at Breast Unit in Champalimaud Foundation. She is the head of Breast Imaging and Intervention at Breast Unit since 2011 and has a master’s degree in Breast Pathology from the University of Barcelona.

Her areas of interest include: Breast cancer and Axilla, Diagnosis and Intervention; Artificial Intelligence and Breast Lesions Localization with Augmented Reality. Dr. Alves is also interested in new technologies and strategies for breast cancer screening among young woman.
