Carolina Ferreira, is a Master's student in Biomedical Engineering at Technical Superior Institute, University of Lisbon and has been at the Champalimaud Foundation since 2025.

With a strong interest in the intersection of biomechanics and AI, she focuses on advancing medical technologies through data-driven approaches. Her thesis centers on predicting patient-specific biomechanical parameters to support the development of personalized breast cancer models, improving diagnosis and treatment planning.
